FAQ

I’ve gathered the questions I’m asked most often and made a handy FAQ!

Q: How did you make this website?

A: I’ve been building websites since the late 90’s, and know my way around building cringe webshrines with HTML, CSS & JS. However, in the interest of time I built this site from the ground up with a bit less elbow grease. It’s done up in WordPress with the Custmizr theme and a bit of custom CSS for spice.

Q: Are you still a freelance artist?

A: I was once a full-time freelance artist (for over four years!), but have since put down that sword in favour of working full-time at a tabletop games company. While I sometimes miss the perks of full-time self-employment, I really enjoy my work and it’s done wonders for my well-being and my work-life balance.

Q: Do you still take commissions?

A: Sadly, no. While I take periodic paid work on a situational basis, I am no longer open for public commission work. However, in these dark times of AI-generated imagery, I beg you to seek out real artists for the work you need done. There are thousands of freelance artists out there hurting real bad right now, so be awesome & support them!

Q: How can I support your work?

A: It means so much to me that folks ask this. Here’s a few different ways to support the things I do:

Q: What tools do you use for your hobbies?

A: Here’s a non-exhaustive list of the basic tools I use for some of my pastimes:

  • Digital Art: iPad Pro gen 4 + Procreate, Affinity Suite
  • Physical Art: Pencils, ballpoint pens, sketchbooks, post-its
  • Knitting & Crochet: Bamboo needles & Clover-brand hooks are my preference. I choose yarn weight & fibre content based on what I plan to make.
  • Miniature Painting: Vallejo Model Color, Citadel washes & cheap size 00 brushes from Amazon. Do not perceive me.
