So you wanna know about me, eh?
I’m a human in my 40s living in central Canada with my partner and our little black cat.
I’ve been neck-deep in hobbies ever since I was very young. I was always receiving craft supplies & DIY kits for my birthday and other holidays & come from a family of hobbyists. My dad was a hobby chef and had an entire workshop dedicated to Meccano (even entering national building competitions), while my mom was skilled at sewing, knitting, baking, home decor & more.
I’ve been drawing ever since I was very little, with other hobbies such as yarncrafts & mini-painting coming along later. I’ve tried to narrow down & focus on specific interests, but as I’ve gotten older I’ve realized there’s no point in refusing myself the joy of doing whatever it is I feel like doing. I’m lucky to be able to pursue so many hobbies, and life is short.
Outside of hobbying, I love experiencing new places, new foods and new adventures. I love the outdoors and am an avid camper, hiker & gardener.
I’m also very interested in paleontology, especially that of the Mesozoic era! I never grew out of my love for dinosaurs and prehistoric creatures, and will chat about dinosaurs to anyone who wants to listen.
