Welcome to my site, and to my blog!
This site redesign & blog is the result of about half a year of navel-gazing, figuring out how I wanted to be present on the internet.
I decided to reboot a blog so I can share all the things I do with the world, and hopefully inspire others to share their stories as well. Something that’s always driven me is existing in community spaces where we all make things and share them with each other. It fuels me and gives me life to see folks proudly sharing the things they’ve made.
Social media is something I find myself falling away from, the older I get. More and more I crave the long-form storytelling method of communicating. In 280 characters or less I can certainly share a photo of a mini I painted and share what it’s called, possibly what game it’s from. However, I can’t explain why I’m painting this particular miniature, why I chose the colours I did, or what happened when I spilled the container of wash all over my painting desk.
